However, whether he’s played the outright villain or reluctant ally, the motivation of the petulant child stems from painful daddy issues and sibling jealousy. The last ten years of the MCU have revealed Loki to be a likable yet untrustworthy cohort. Such wishful desire is fleeting to the viewer as Thanos drags the limp body of Thor towards his brother.
